Dear Hofstra Law Students:
Welcome to the Law School’s Office of Academic Support Programs (ASP).
We are here to help you adjust to the academic demands of law school and develop skills that will enable you to reach your full academic potential. To that end, we offer resources designed to help students hone the analytical and organizational skills that are essential for success in law school, on the bar exam, and in the legal profession. ASP resources include a series of study and exam skills workshops offered throughout the year, individual and group meetings with ASP staff, guidance in areas such as running effective study groups and identifying useful academic resources, and a lending library of study aids and other materials.
We encourage you to take advantage of the resources available through the ASP. Please feel free to email us with questions or to schedule an appointment. I typically reserve the afternoons for student appointments, but I am happy to meet with you at a time that is convenient for both of us.
