Bar Exam Information & Resources
Preparation for the bar begins with your application to law school. During your first year in law school, all you need to do is try to learn the material. However, beginning with registration for your second year, you have additional choices to make concerning which courses to take to best prepare yourself for the bar exam. Additionally, beginning the summer after your second year, there are steps you should take to ensure that you meet the deadlines for the bar review and are in the best position to study for and pass the bar exam after you graduate. To facilitate this process, we've compiles a suggested list of tasks you can do each month after your 2L year.
Additionally, Academic Support compiled the following list of resources to provide students with information about the bar examination and the bar admission process. These resources are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all the available resources. Students should regularly contact the law examiners for the state(s) in which they plan to take the bar exam for the information and announcements about the exam.
Our best wishes for a successful experience during your tenure at Hofstra, on the bar exam, and in your career.
